"Villa Althaea was perfect, very clean, had everything and more you could possibly need. Loved the extra touches including a homemade lunch and cake left by the owner of the property welcoming us to Greece. So nice to have our very own private pool. Very sad to leave this beautiful villa. Only 1 restaurant within walking distance, so took a taxi to the beautiful Rethymno old town where there was loads of great restaurants and bars."

"Very secluded location. Villa worked well for us as a party of 16 as it is laid out as 4 separate apartments. Villa owner very helpful and allowed us to set up a communal kitchen. During our stay the owner responded promptly to any request e.g. repair of basketball hoop for the kids! Plenty of supermarkets in nearby Perama. Good beaches within 20-30 minutes drive. Would recommend at least a day in Rethymno - water sports and Old Town."

"We were made welcome as soon as we arrived. A food “basket” was waiting upon our arrival which was plenty for the 8 of us until we could go shopping the next day. The property was very spacious and clean. Helen the cleaner came in every 2/3 days to clean the Villa, change beds and towels. We had a fantastic stay and was made to feel welcome from the owner as soon as we arrived. Such a beautiful island with lots to see. Would definitely go back."

"This villa is beautiful and the view is even better. The drive up from the coast is straight forward, even in the middle of the night! We had everything we needed, it’s a great place to chill by the pool for days on end but still managable to make day trips to some of the major sites. We had some very yummy food made by the owners one night and I would recommend doing this. We would definitely visit here again!"

"The Villa was even nicer than the pictures. Very clean, everything Modern, great view of the ocean. Pool was good size and clean. Excellent location. Very short walk to the beach and stores and restaurants. Christina was very attentive to our needs. If we needed her, she was there within 15 minutes. The villas we stayed in was nicely sized, had all the amenities we needed. short walk to the nearby beach. others can access it but villas had their own lounge chairs with key. Main pool only open 5pm and later but each unit has a pool if needed. honestly, ocean is so much better as the water is clear and temperature perfect. few restaurants in walking distance. store just a short 2 minutes drive. central location about hour to chania, 90 minutes to south side. "

"The villa was immacualte and in a beautiful location. Overlooking the coast line with a spacious yard and private pool made it a proper place to escape to but with Rethimno only 10 mins drive away. You'll need a hire car to access the property but the road is easy despite being narrow. Only remote downside was the little farm across the driveway has a peacock and roosters so dont expect a sleep in!"
