"The apartment hotel is a new building in a suburban residential area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a good restaurant called Brothers nearby which serves gyros and other Greek meals and is frequented by locals. There is a mini mart and a couple of bakeries as well on the same street. There is ample street parking so it is a good location for those renting vehicles to explore Crete. We visited Knossos and Matala Beach but did not have time to visit the Old Town of Heraklion. "Hotel and staff were really good, very clean and really good location. Only issue I had was the AC making some noise but that could have been the fan speed. Will definitely stay in this location as well. Parking was also available at the port parking, with a quick walk to the hotel"
