"I cannot impress upon people how idillic this villa is. It is set near a very small village with peaceful, beautiful surroundings. The villa itself has all the amenities one would require, and the inside is is fabulous condition. There was a maid service twice a week and she did a marvelous job keeping the 5 star villa clean and today. Highly recommend this place for anyone planning a holiday to Crete. "

"We spent a month hee. Well equipped and clean house. I would recommend this villa as it has everything you need for a great stay . The pool area and outdoor space is great. My only complaint is that the BBQ looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time so we couldn’t use it. We had an amazing stay and plan to return next year."

"Clean, modern villa, accurately portrayed in photos. Staff made us daily brunch and served it at the dinner table overlooking the sea. There’s a cement road between the Villa and the beach, but it was convenient for parking our rental cars. There's a private area on the beach with beach chairs to enjoy. The villa’s garage was rented to a coffee shop/bar and the owners will deliver beverages and meals to you on the beach or at the villa. Nice Bluetooth sound system throughout the villa to enjoy...

"What a beautiful villa with absolutely everything you need! The villa is huge with each room a really good size. There were 24 of us in the villa and we were never on top of each other! All the play bits for the kids were great and the pool area was totally amazing. "We had a lovely stay at the villa. Great location close to bars and restaurants but far enough from the main town and set in a beautiful location with mountain and sea views and away from main road, so feels secluded and very calm and relaxing. Also it’s very near the stop for the ‘little train’ bus tour that goes to the nearby beaches. The pool area was fantastic, with a lovely shaded terrace. Great gas barbecue for meals outdoors. Plenty of nice comfy outdoor chairs, loungers etc....

"The property was lovely. Exactly as described and the location details given to find it and the check in process very easy. The apartment was very clean and simple, with everything you need for a family holiday. The pool was lovely and any small and minor issues we had were swiftly addressed by our contact. A minor improvement would be to provide more glasses / beakers in the aprtment. These were in shorty supply!"

"The villa is as described and was perfect for our stay 6 girls. The out door area is superb and everywhere is really clean. The sunbeds are amazing !! If you want to visit a few places I would advise a car as the taxis can be a bit pricey. However the taxi company are super reliable and friendly we were given the number on arrival by the villa host. The supermarket is a 5 minute walk note villa is on a steep hill. The communication with the villa host is fantastic every questions was answered...

"Beautiful property! Peaceful feeling. Breakfast and Dinner included. Food was amazing. Service was great. The staff was amazing and fun! Only down side was many of the amenities in the kitchen area did not work. For example the tea kettle didn't work and the fridge shut off when the key was removed for the electric. "

"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. The host also handled our transfers which was very much appreciated."
