"Tin Tin II is the perfect getaway house for families. We had 3 generations assemble for the long MLK weekend - perfect location, great views ( and sunsets). The house is lovely- well cared for and well stocked. If you have an opportunity to stay there I highly recommend it. "

"Lots of the reviews said something like "the best stocked rental house we've stayed out"...and that was exactly what we experienced. 2 kayaks, 3 SUPs, life jackets, plenty of nice beach chairs and umbrellas, well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and beach towels, soap/shampoo in both bathrooms...I could go on and on. The only thing we wanted that wasn't there were skewers for roasting marshmallows over the fire we had on the beach. Also, Cythia was great to work with. When the dryer wasn't work...

"This property was clean, comfortable, cozy and charming tucked into a wooded area with a private stairway down to the shore of Lake Michigan to a private beach. The view of Lake Michigan from the house was amazing. The kitchen was well equipped and bright. There were plenty of places to sit inside and outside and enjoy the view. "

"We had a great stay in this quaint little home. Nice neighborhood with a one minute walk to nearby lake. Quick drive into downtown Grand Haven as well. Host strolled over for a short visit and offered recommendations for local eateries. Very enjoyable!"

"All aspects of this property met our expectations except for the bedroom situation. The property is listed as 5 bedrooms, but only one bedroom (new addition) has full walls. The other 4 bedrooms have open rafter ceiling which makes each room connected as far as noise is concerned. If you are traveling with other couples, this may not be advantageous. That being said, the location is great and the view from the deck is lovely. Jay is also a very gracious host. "

"House was great, you can walk down the steps & literally get in the water of Lake Michigan. There are a lot of steps to get down there so not for someone with walking issues. House is cute, clean & has a great deck to sit out on & excellent lake access. Location is very rural & literally have to drive down dirt roads & hills to get to the house. "This cabin is OLD. But in the best way. It has original detail, with some modern amenities. While I personally thought it was charming, I could see how others might not. Aesthetically, the owner has excellent taste and everything worked together. But there were areas that could use some maintenance/updates.
