"I stayed at 3 different rentals in the Alfama area, and this was my favorite. Very small, as all the old buildings are, but so smartly designed. I had room in the living room to set up my laptop, read and relax. The bed is in a loft accessible by a ladder, so this isn't for everyone. It was perfect for me, I felt so comfortable, and the host was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again..."

"The apartment is located near the historical center and it was very easy to find good restaurants and bars around us. We also were able to use the tram to travel in the city or the subway a bit further away. The location was easy to find but it also was uphill (as indicated in the post) so be careful if you are not ready to make efforts to go back to the apartment every day if you are not used to it. Very clean and pretty apartment, but it is very noisy, the upstairs neighbours woke up everyday...
