"This property is not what I expected—the old house part of the building is beautiful and the view from the hotel is beautiful too! But the property has added wings that are architectural mismatched and it gives a strange ambiance. There are conditional issues such as stained carpeting in hallways, but rooms are nice and comfortable. Service is a mixed bag—-valet and baggage guys were great…retail shop clerk was super nice….front desk was adequate but not friendly and didn’t try to make you feel...

"Lovely hotel and pub. Staff are friendly and helpful. The place is clean and it was wonderful to sit and have a drink by the open fire. The bar is 24hours for residents and the food at dinner and breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again."
