Had a drink in Madeline 's bar which had a very relaxed atmosphere with a friendly, efficient service. I would highly recommend The Grand Hotel for a stay in Birmingham. I hope to return sometime. "

"The staff on reception were very helpful and knowing there were there at all hours me and my daughter stayed 2 nights but the first night was very noisy as were on the front of the hotel, we mentioned it and they moved us to the back of hotel, for last eve, would stay again definitely 😁"

The location is really convenient – just a short walk from the train station and close to the Bullring, which made things a lot easier after a long journey. It was a relief to know I didn’t have far to go once I arrived in the city. I mainly used the hotel to drop off my things and get some rest, as I was out all day at the event. For that purpose, it was ideal – affordable, clean, and comfortable. A nice touch was the free water bottles provided in the room, which was appreciated. One small downside: there wasn’t a mirror in the bedroom, only in the bathroom. So if you’re someone who needs a mirror for makeup or getting ready, that might be a bit inconvenient. It would be great if they added one to the room in the future. Overall, a solid choice for a short and functional stay in the city."
