"This is our go to hotel when travelling through Albany. The hotel is beautiful with very comfortable rooms. The staff is exceptionally friendly and willing to assist with any needs. The on site restaurant is a huge benefit for travelers. The food and service are top notch in both the restaurant and bar area. Book the room with the breakfast included option it is well worth the extra cost. "

"I came by train and taxi (not by car) and I wished I had known that the diner and the bar would be closed on Sunday and Monday, which were the days I was there. There are no dining options in walking distance, which is expected in these areas where everyone drives. It is very nice that the hotel provides complimentary soup though :-) Only, I am a vegetarian, so I couldn't eat this one. I didn't starve though, because at least I was able to purchase some snacks.
