The hotel itself was very clean neat tidy. Staff was very helpful. Continental breakfast was good with a nice selection. I did check in later at night and it seemed as if the area around the hotel had declined in the last few years I would not feel comfortable going for a walk around the property.

Starting with the positives. The unit is very spacious, the bed is comfortable and the shower works well. So it suited our purposes. HOWEVER - the furniture is a little threadbare and the furnishings were completely inadequate. There was only one chair to sit at the table with. There were only TWO mugs for drinking tea or coffee. That would have been inconvenient but possible to deal with if only there was some kind of sponge to hand-wash them with. Nope. Also hardly any silverware. By far the worst thing was the housekeeping - or lack of housekeeping. When we checked in, we were told that they only service the room every other day, which was fine with us. Come the every other day, someone knocks on the door to service the room and we were in it, so she explained (by use of a phone app - she spoke not a word of English) that she is not allowed to service the room while we are in it. Fine. I told her in perfectly adequate Spanish when we would be away from the room.We came back and the room had not been serviced. We spoke with the front desk, but nothing changed. In brief, for a stay of five nights, not once was our room serviced. We put our trash out in the hallway so it would be emptied. We did get more towels (which were REALLY small). We did ask for and get an additional chair for the table and got one, but it was more like an arm chair and not a dining chair. In short, we will never be back and will definitely not be recommending this hotel.

The front desk staff were all very nice and helpful, but the cleaning crew is missing details. The couch had a sticky arm rest, there was blood on a window curtain, the corners of the bathroom looked dirty and the silverware in the drawer was used and not cleaned. The bathroom also smelled of pot, and there was not a fan to try to air the room. The room itself was a good layout, and the bed & pillows were comfortable. The hotel probably needs to do a deep clean on some spaces. I was also surprised that it was $10/night to park.
