"Clean, breakfast was good, staff very friendly and eager to assist. Working hard to improve the grounds. Excellent for the price range. not the Hilton, nor the price, so very good for the price range. Need a vehicle if you wish to go to town as too far to walk. La Fortuna is a great place to visit, lots to do and many restaurant choices in town..12 min drive. Nice pool area, hiking and waterfalls at your door step. "

"Great location and food options. Hotel was clean with a lot to offer. Staff was helpful but not overly friendly. The pool was the let down. Toooo cold!! Could not use once. Only 1/2 hot tub worked which was a drawback. Oh a great massage "

"We were two moms with two kids (11 and 16) and this hotel checked all the boxes for us. Adventure (horseback riding, nature walks, water slides), nature (everywhere) and relaxation (hot springs, hammock, nice dining). Everyone on staff was super nice and welcoming and so were the other guests. It's a little remote but it made us feel like we were sometimes staying by ourselves in the rainforest. Our favorite place when we visited CR!"
