This place is very charming and clean. No free airport shuttle, but close enough that the cab is about $10. Convenient location.

Great option for a Costa Rican small hotel near the airport. Restaurants and shopping nearby and very friendly service from the desk manager. Also a very early breakfast was served for us as we had an early flight.

This lovely family run vintage hotel is just minutes from the airport by taxi. The staff are super friendly and helpful, eager to provide any service they can. It is like staying with friends. Don’t expect air con, you won’t need it anyway, do expect a delightful breakfast, delicious coffee, comfortable beds, and smiles and courtesy from everyone who works there.

I enjoyed staying at Alejuela Hotel because of its location, the serenity you find in this place as well as the friendly & attentive staff. I would recommend it to anyone coming to visit Costa Rica. It's also a 20min drive approximately from SJO Airport. Yvonne

There’s several things to consider before booking this Hotel , this is not only a hotel it also runs like a Hostel , so if you don’t look very well in the description of the rooms , some of there rooms don’t have a private bathroom and no Tv , so it was a surprise for me because I thought I was booking a hotel, it’s very important for people that want to stay there to be very sure what room is that you are getting, also there’s no parking at the property you have to look for a parking place and pay , but it’s around the corner which is the positive side, the place is clean but if your looking for a nice place that’s quiet and have no hassles I don’t recommend staying in this Hotel/ Hostel , description of the amenities is not accurate, it is convenient the area because you can walk to restaurants and places
