"Fantastic 3 days spent at the Beaumont. It’s our 4th visit and as ever it’s a great way to re- energise in a relaxing environment with such friendly staff. The Northumberland gastronomy that the menu provides is very clever and an explosion of local flavours is backed up with an array of well selected wines - Albariño albeit Spanish or Portuguese is recommended. Take the time to enjoy this beautiful boutique hotel but don’t ignore the history of the town of Hexham and neighbouring enclaves. A visit to the Abbey crypt is well worth the large stepped decent and a trawl through the local antiques often uncovers a gem or two.
