"A clean, convenient, well situated, quiet, solid hotel in DC at a great rate. Very pleasant staff. Small but fully stocked and eminently functional bathroom. Comfy bed, nothing bad at all can be said about The Darcy, beyond that pesky Covid holdover of the Resort Fee. "

"The property was perfect for a weekend getaway. The breakfast food was delicious!! Our only issue was that upon check-in, the gentleman did not inform us of how to get to rooftop bar. Also, a free breakfast buffet was advertised, but they do not have one. He did not give us our free breakfast passes, the young lady in the morning did, but only because I asked about. We would have had to pay because the initial check-in was insufficient. "

I love to hang out in the lobby or courtyard and the staff could NOT be more helpful. Really. They couldn't. The Mt. Vernon metro is a few blocks away with a direct line to the Mall for museums or anywhere else. Safe neighborhood but not remote. I felt comfortable walking alone anywhere, anytime. "
