"The property offers good value for money, with well-thought-out decor. Breakfast is an additional £10, which in my opinion is a little mucg. As I chose to explore more affordable options elsewhere, I can't comment on the quality of the breakfast. A special shout-out to Maria, who checked me in and made me feel right at home. "We had a wonderful stay at the El Candil hotel in Havana. The hotel is spotlessly clean, wonderfully decorated and the staff are super friendly and helpful. "The accommodations at this property are fantastic. Wonderful room with amenities and room service. Nice public space and tasty breakfasts. The staff are exceptional - knowledgeable, supportive, and available to endure a great visit. The neighborhood is edgy and therefore colorful and vibrant but also requires street smarts. Everything is walkable though and you’re in the heart of Havana, not a tourism representation. "

"Havana Dream is a lovely oasis in Old Havana. The people were friendly and helpful. The only things which were not as advertised was that the bed is a queen and not king size but what we were told is that they don’t have king size. Also wifi is terrible in Cuba so it is not the 500 Mbps as advertised. More like 2-3 Mbps which I guess you get everywhere. It is safe and private."

"Everything was perfect! The breakfast was really good. One of the best Papaya & Guava Juice I have had. Only suggestion is to please get new towels because the towels were really poor quality. other than that, will definitely recommend and stay there again!"
