"Great property located in a neighborhood about 20 minutes from downtown. The staff are all amazing. Across the street is one of the best restaurants and three blocks down is another nice restaurant. This is a 100 yr old bldg. If you are thinking American hotel amenities, not that kind of place. This is old world charm with 12 ft doors and 20 ft ceilings on every floor. "This was a wonderful surprise in the heart of El Vedado just 2 blocks from Hotel Nacional. Lunch, diner and drinks at hotel Bacional is a must and so inexpensive as you pay in Cuban pesos, CUP. Also Caberet Parisian is at hotel and it’s the best show and price ever!! This Chile hotel has a wonderful breakfast and wonderful staff who were so helpful. The rooms were excellent with great air conditioning and showers. "

"The property was a taxi ride from the main area of Havana but taxis were organised very easily. the rooms and en suite bathrooms were large and the bed very comfortable. shower a bit temperamental but it didn't matter. The house was full of old and interesting artefacts and the main guy spoke really good English and was very helpful. breakfast seemed to be whenever we wanted it and was basically anything we wanted. Very good coffee! Our stay was overall excellent"
