"My sister and I absolutely loved our stay at Alhabana. 1st the level of service is warm, generous, attentive, very personalized, knowledgeable and effective. We were able to communicate with Mariem before getting to Havana, and she was extremely helpful and accommodating from the beginning providing great information that was valuable allowing us to plan an epic trip. All the reception staff we worked with (Mariem, Fabio and Rafael) maintained the same level of personable, kind, resourceful service throughout our stay with seamless communication and cooperation among them allowing them to keep track of all our activities. They were all key to arranging great excursions, transportation and any other services we needed with incredible service providers. 2nd the property is exceptionally clean, well maintained, breakfast was great (special mention to Pedro and Pavel), and all amenities were present as listed. "Our stay in this Hostal was memorable, and their staff made our stay in Havana and our whole trip in Cuba a great experience We were warried about the effect of the US economic Blockade against Cuba on local transport and accommodation, so we just booked our first hotel, based on reviews. The Blockade has certainly damaged Cuba, but it remains a beautiful country. We have to say that we were able to organise the rest our trip, from Havana all the way to Santiago de Cuba and back, thanks to the support from the staff at Hostal Colonial De Luca. Particularly from Diamela - who is knowledgeable, very skilled and really supportive and friendly. The Hostal is very good, with very clean very large rooms. The area is very interesting with some excellent restaurants nearby. Visiting Cuba has been a really amazing experience. Muchas gracias"
