"The hotel was absolutely beautiful, but getting around for sightseeing was quite challenging. The water taxi fare from the train station to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport was 220 euros. Although the hotel offers a shuttle service, it only goes to San Marco Square, so reaching other tourist attractions requires taking a public water taxi, which consumes a lot of time."

The terrace on Grand Canal is a wonderful place for hanging out and the hotel is an easy walk from St. Marks, museums and designer shops. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel that takes you into Venice. Don’t drive into Venice - parking is ridiculously expensive and not conveniently located. "
