"My husband and I recently stayed here for my birthday trip to Belize. It was really lovely there. The staff was out every morning very early doing landscaping and maintenance. Our one bedroom cottage was perfect for us. It was very clean, the AC was much appreciated, and the bed was comfortable. The only downside is that the windows are always open. We expected better beaches, but that is not the scene in that part of Belize. The action leans towards snorkeling or dive and fishing. The wind was unusually strong and prevented any of those. "I love, love, love this place. The staff was outstanding and once you get the hang of the boat schedule to the other side it’s smooth sailing. If you are not good at figuring out the schedule for the boat, the staff will take you on a golf cart to The Split to catch a ferry. It’s not too far either and we walked several times. Just give them a little notice. My only issue with the place was that the bathroom is open to the room on top. We would like a little more privacy in that area. "
