"Everything was perfect. The only thing I would like to mention is that the receptionist only recommended their transportation when we wanted to head out to town instead of giving us the option between their transportation and Uber. Their transportation fee was $28 plus tax and Uber was $7. Other than that, this is a really great resort. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, and the views are AMAZING! "Very welcoming check in process, very clean, beautiful grounds, beautiful views of volcano and surrounding, thermal pools were really nice. Restaurant had great food. Pricey but you get what you pay for. "

"Overall I was very happy with the resort despite a couple of hiccups. The property itself is really beautiful. We stayed in unit 209 and have a fabulous view of the volcano and overlooked a grade with beautiful flowers. Nice private patio with 2 rocking chairs. The resort itself has flowers everywhere and the pool, thermals and restaurants are all in close walking distance. Con was problems with A/C and we had to call 4 different times (same day) to get it to finally be fixed (and even then...

"Sorry had bad experience in restaurant waiter delivers our food to wrong table than took it back then 5 mins later he brought to our table same plates food was cold and they took mine back pretty sure they microwaved my plate it was obvious absolutely aweful if you eat here order the bar food they didn’t mess up pizza and wings the next night waiter offered free drink for the previous nights mistake what a joke "

"Nayara Springs was hands down the very best hotel we’ve stayed at anywhere in the world. Its attention to detail, ability to create private, quiet spaces within a large resort, and the incredibly high level of attention from staff are unparalleled. "Spotlessly clean, with friendly staff, this hotel is in a fantastic location for uninterrupted views of the Arenal volcano, which are amazing! Our room was well appointed, comfortable and well tended during our stay. The only criticism would be that the public areas are a little dated and poorly laid out: the bar is currently remote from the body of the hotel and rather unappealing, but we did note that there was a programme of refurbishment in progress, so maybe this is being addressed. "
