"Stayed one night with daughter as visiting a nearby university. Bedroom and bathroom were clean; bed was comfortable and location was quiet. Breakfast choice was reasonable; happy we opted for the small cooked breakfast (which was of a high standard) ;there was plenty on the plate. "

"Room was gorgeous, in a lovely cottage next door to the pub. Breakfast was lovely. Slept well and the bathroom was nice. Tea tray was fab. Only issue we had was the room was freezing, in December. We had to go over to he pub to ask them to turn the heating on as there was no thermostat in the room. When we went out for dinner and drinks and got back, the room was freezing again. So again back to the pub to ask for heat, we were told there was a thermostat on the landing of the cottage this time...

"Lovely hotel. Parking easy. Really quiet. Easy access to the town. Stayed for 3 nights. One day my room wasn’t cleaned despite the sign I left on the door. TV a bit small. Internet access good. Overall I can recommend the hotel and I would stay again. "

"A real hidden jem in a small village with lots of facilities. Opposite the Castle and duck pond. Not far to lots of tourist hotspots and when you get back plenty of free parking. Its an old building with creaking floorboards but that odds to the charm."
