"The gym is something I'm not too happy with. There is no olympic bars or weighted plates. So you can't do any key exercises like squats or deadlifts or even a bench press. The gym has gone through a refurb but the investment of this has gone into the wrong pieces of equipment. The bonus of the above issue means any one serious about getting into shape probably would avoid such a gym due to key equipment not being available."

"Spotlessly clean room with very comfortable firm bed, nice bathroom with plenty of products and decent shower. The only downside with the shower was the lack of pressure but that is very minor nit picking. We ate in the restaurant with friends and all enjoyed a lovely meal. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and plenty of options. All in all it was a fabulous stay at the hotel."

"This hotel was very good, staff were excellent and the food was lovely. The place was very clean but it was really isolated and in the middle of a housing estate which meant that the pool was always full. One other thing to know the beds are incredibly hard, great if you like that but very uncomfortable if you don’t."

"Brief 1night stay, very pleasant and helpful staff - room was comfortable & warm. Good quality bathroom and newish decor. Comfortable bed & couch in adjoining lounge area. Breakfast was better than expected, good choices and made to order. (We had purchased breakfast included). Restaurant was good quality, decent prices too. (And was offered a discount because of stay) Would stay again! "

"Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Really like the bath and shower set -up (you'll know what I mean when you see it). Breakfast was tasty and staff well organised. Staff, generally, very polite. We had to wait 40 minutes for our room to be ready even though we arrived at 15:00. Rooms are not well sign-posted and require a bit of finding. Leisure centre, particularly the pool, requires some up-grading. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would go back, which says a lot."
