"Lovely hotel. Room was small but nice. Lifts are a nightmare. We waited about 20mins on checkout to get a lift. The lifts are very slow which exacerbates the problem."

"In general our stay in the Gran Hotel Birmingham could’ve been better. The overall experience was nice, hotel still in good condition, but the service wasn’t not as good as excepted. Tiny blood shades on bed sheet, as well as hair. The fire alarm went off as a test but no one noticed us. Someone tried to open my room door in the morning while I was talking on the phone, later knocked twice while I was in the bathroom. Guests’ privacy need to be respected, thanks a lot. "
