"Beautiful spacious and inviting classic house! Our hostess was outstanding, very friendly and accommodating. The room we stayed in was “The Preacher” and it was outstanding. Very large, comfortable with an incredible bed and a 7 foot claw foot soaking tub. Breakfast was delicious! Belgian waffles with fresh fruit, juice and coffee. "

"Our stay at Harborwalk Lodge was fantastic. It’s off the beaten path but close enough to Galveston where the drive is nominal. The breakfast was delicious, the room was great, and the owners are a joy. 10/10 would stay there again."

"We arrived on Sunday and the hurricane hit and we lost power. Water came in the patio door and we had to use all the towels for clean up. Power went out and we had very little communication with the office. The windows were rusted shut and the temperature inside reached 90. There were no lights in the stairwells and we felt very unsafe. Finally someone came to check on us Tuesday and let us know they would get back to us but we heard nothing. We finally left on Tuesday afternoon when it was...

"The building looked a little rough on the outside, especially in the front. Looks like repairs are being completed. But the room was very nice, modern, and clean. The swimming pool was outstanding. Grandkids had a great time. A negative was the sleeper bed. Kinda sparse on the padding. Not comfortable!"

"Check in was 4pm. I arrived at 3:57 and code didn’t work until precisely 4:00. Kind of silly but ok. Overall we were pleasantly surprised to find a very beautiful and comfortable house in which to spend the next couple days in. Super clean, and very safe area. We cooked several meals there, watched movies, took walks around the area, all comfortable and felt like home. Quiet area, no complaints really about anything. I would stay again in a heartbeat. "
