"We had a lovely warm welcome from the receptionist with a great value upgrade. Hotel is clean and modern. Some members of staff could do with being trained on how to make guests feel welcome (a simple ‘hello’ when they return after a night out, or a ‘good morning’ when they sit down for breakfast…). Quality of breakfast was a little disappointing - cheap, undercooked sausages and bacon…Overall, a nice stay though. We would return. "

"I'm in Southgate every couple of weeks and used to stay at Lenny Henry's place over the road - think you'll guess which one that is!
