"I was there for an international conference, and had a double room suite. This was a very good hotel in many respects. However, it was disappointing that basic amenities like a coffee maker (or hot water kettle), mugs, creamer, sugar etc. were absent from the room. These, and a microwave oven, are what we would normally expect to see in a suite - at least in other countries. I was also sorry that it was not close to the city. The grounds were beautiful, and the peacocks were a treat. "

"Providing clean towels was an issue for the hotel. We were there five nights and three of those nights involved us having to repeatedly request new towels. Also, the housekeeping was subpar. The bathroom wasn’t completely cleaned some days. The front desk staff was always polite and helpful though."

"Great value for the price you pay for. A renovation is long overdue, but if you don’t mind seeing lots of wood paneling, then you’ll be fine. Service is excellent, what you would expect from a 5-star establishment."
