"We had two rooms , my sister in one and myself and my daughter in the other. Our room was clean and comfortable, my sister's room appeared to be the same on arrival but later on in the evening when she opened a cupboard underneath the hospitality tray she found two half eaten pizza 's in boxes and mouldy garlic bread. She reported it next morning and the receptionist took note and was mortified to hear of it. However on returning from our day out they were still there so she took them down to...

"Beautiful historic house set in peaceful countryside. The owners and staff were very friendly and attentive. We also booked the Sunday lunch which was delicious and spent the evening sitting by a log fire in a snug room with a cheeseboard and bottle of wine. Our bedroom was stunning. We only had an overnight stay but would love to go back for a longer stay one day."

"Apartment was lovely - they had thought of everything, but what then let it down, was the use of cheap blinds that were almost see through and poorly fitting, and no curtains in the bedroom! There was also an overwhelming smell of what seemed to be damp. The apartment was really well thought out and very comfortable, but just let down by those 2 things."
