"We stayed on Christmas Night. Alone in a deserted hotel on the misty banks of the Yorkshire Derwent. The continental breakfast was adequate but unimaginative - we don't eat sticky buns for breakfast. As this is a very old Coaching House we'd hoped for a minimum of ghosts but were disappointed"
