"We were stuck here during the snow storm that hit Zermatt and caused the trains to be closed for two days. The staff did the best they could to provide entertainment, warm food and a place to say while we waited out the train. The hotel has great amenities, pool and spa services. Also only a very short walk to downtown shops and restaurants and the ski shops and lifts to the mountains! We will be back! "

"We only booked this hotel for one night with the view of catching the glacier express in the morning but stayed for 3 nights as the town experienced bad weather with no power. The hotel went above and beyond to make guest feel welcome on the subsequent night. They didn’t charge any of the guests for the 2nd night stay as the there was no power at the hotel (not their fault as the whole town didn’t have town, infact the whole valley was without power for 2 days.
