One of my favorite spots to go. If you hike all the way up you can access the man-made lake. Great place to kayak. There is a small beach as well but you need to purchase a permit to use it. Fishing is free on other side

"This is a beautifully restored historical house. Seven, our host, was very attentive and accommodating without being intrusive. This was a great secluded location yet quickly accessible to Albany for many dining options. The grounds are beautiful to walk. Great for a quick getaway! Will definitely consider returning. "
