"Had an excellent stay here in November for our honeymoon. Check in was friendly and we were greeted with cool towels and a cold drink which was lovely after a long drive. "We stayed in Villa #1 which is a 2 bedroom suite. It is perfect. The weather was not so great for the two days we stayed, but we still enjoyed the place very well because of the beauty of the villa and the surroundings. We saw a lot of birds, a big family of peccaries, and two coatis. We went to Mistico park early in the morning before the tourist traffic picked up. It was so peaceful. "The Lodge was spectacular and the staff friendly, professional, and helpful. Within hours of arrival, they knew our names. The room was large, private, clean and very comfortable with a large deck overlooking the rainforest, a huge bathroom and our own private hot tub. We did many activities through the lodge (hiking, yoga, night walk, bird watching tour) and the guides were excellent. The food was delicious and very fresh. Each dish was beautifully plated and generous. 5 stars!"
