"A well maintained property with wonderful views of the Arenal volcano. The cabins are very spacious and well equipped. Staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast was very good! For the price I believe this B&B Hotel is a very good option in La Fortuna. "

"The staff including Antony and Johanna were magnificent, they were helpful and accommodating… the breakfasts, coffee, and animal guests on the property were so lovely, I would not hesitate to book again. Was super pleased to stay here and would do it again in a heartbeat. "

"This little bit of heaven just outside the touristy chaos of La Fortuna was much more than we hoped for. The owners have provided everything you might need in a very stylish cottage, and the view of the volcano is unsurpassed. In fact, we cancelled our dinner reservations and had wine and cheese and just enjoyed the late afternoon watching the weather change the look of the volcano. The outdoor spa tub and the extras, like drinks and a delicious rum cake in the fridge, were much appreciated....

"Not the smoothest of steep roads up the hill but well worth it when you get there. Takes about ten minutes off the main road so not handy if you are heading in and out all the time but so secluded and quiet when you are there. The view alone is worth the effort. The spacious room was more than adequate. "

"We had a wonderful time. The grounds are beautiful. We saw monkeys lots of birds and other wildlife right from our window. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The restaurant is cute and offers good food at a reasonable price. We had lots of rain while there and it does creep into the casitas. Our towels never really dried and the bed felt clammy too. "We stayed here for 4 nights, it was a bit pricey in my opinion, but it had a stunning view of the hillsides and the volcano (when it wasn't cloud cover). You will need transportation in and out as it's a bit off the beaten path. The Villas are nice and updated on the inside. "Scenic views of lake, sunrise, volcano; location were amazing! Don’t miss the birds at breakfast. I like the location because it was quiet and a short drive to the Arenal National Park. "We booked using reviews on hotels.com as a bit of a guide and I definitely wouldn’t rate a 9/10. I’d give it a 6/10. Staff was friendly, banana bread was delicious, and the view was beautiful. Upon our arrival, there was a hair wad in the toilet, sheets felt like paper, beds were uncomfortable, and there was no heat/ac or even a fan in the rooms. Road to the property was terrible, but we knew that ahead of time. Just a meh stay. "

"I loved my stay at La Mansion. Christopher and the rest of the staff was so helpful and genuinely kind. The room was spacious and beautiful. The property and view was gorgeous.
