"Really felt like staying in the rainforest, but with excellent food and service. Villa was very private. Not a wildlife preserve, but we did see monkeys, a mom and baby sloth, birds, and lizards on the expansive property. The geothermal pools and the use of all 3 Nayara restaurants and facilities were major plusses that probably aren't emphasized enough."

"This was the perfect spot for our family’s first time to La Fortuna and Costa Rica. If you don’t mind the drive into town for activities, which we didn’t at all, this place is quiet and beautiful! We loved sitting at both open-air restaurants and having a drink while our kids swam in the hot springs. The hiking trail and river slide/swimming were beautiful. We saw lots of birds and heard all the cicadas and howler monkeys in the evenings. We would definitely stay again!"

"Staff are very friendly, they were above and beyond...I had a zoom meeting and was stress out were to take this call and manager and staff accommodated me in one of their offices so I could take the call. Rooms are spacious and you will see a beautiful garden around every single room. I would definitely recommend this place to stay. "

"It is an older era quaint property and if you can accept that you will enjoy! Our family played at the pool table one night and had so much fun! It has beautiful private grounds, helpful staff and had a gorgeous view of the volcano from our room. Definitely need a 4x4 car to traverse the steep windy driveway in (there are signs that say “halfway there, trust” lol) but worth it as so private but so close to Fortuna!"
