We really enjoyed our drink in the bar, and breakfast which was well worth the money. The hotel it in a great position. Just down the road from the Abbey, Roman baths and Pultney Bridge. With Sally Lunns a must see and almost opposite. Only down side was the incredibly loud door slams from other rooms...

"A good place to stay when visiting Bristol, as it's only 5-10 minutes walk into the City Centre & riverside attractions. The reception is spotless and spacious, with very efficient staff. Due to a fall the day before arriving my wife arrived in a wheelchair, and without any fuss or request from myself, the reception staff allocated us a wheelchair friendly room on the 1st floor. "I would say the cleanliness could be better. The carpets in the bar were not clean. The hotel looks like it needs a freshening up. It can feel at bit dark and dreary. The cocktail was really nice from the bar and friendly helpful bartender. ( martini expresso) The room (signature suite) was lovely with hign end toiletries and the bed was very comfortable. 35 min walk into town going downhill a bit longer coming back uphill. A beautiful spot overlooking the suspension bridge and gorge."
