"My wife and I decided to stay at Grand Naniloa Hotel Hilo after seeing so many positive recommendations on social media, and we were excited to try it out. The atmosphere is really nice, and it’s super close to the ocean, which makes for some beautiful views. The location is great and the hotel itself has a nice vibe. However, there were a couple of downsides. First, they only offer valet parking, which wasn’t super convenient for us. I’m not exactly looking for valet service, especially when...

"Almost a 10/10 Difficultly with transportation without a car Dinner at hotel when available was wonderful but otherwise need to be resourceful and comfortable to go with the flow (again without transpiration) as you cannot walk to anything, but also what makes it such a great place. "The property was as advertised, beautiful decor and many amenities plus awesome balconies to sit and watch the sunset. Only issue was the hallway to the unit which had a musty smell but using the service elevator was a way around the smell even though the service elevator had very dirty carpet."
