"Let me start by saying thank you to the whole team for making our recent stay so incredible. We were with you last week Wednesday - Friday. We were put in one of the upper level rooms with a partial view of the lake and it was a fantastic room. From our very first interaction with security at the gate, to checking in with David who was excellent, and all of our interactions whilst we were with you, we had a lovely time. We also booked Thermal journey and a treatment each which we had on the Thursday, the spa was equally as impressive. We also had the pleasure of meeting Puppy Holly (and Tim) which was one of my fiancés highlights. Special mention to Mel in the Winander bar who was lovely and we had several conversations with."

"It is such a beautiful and peaceful place. The lodge was very clean, spacious and well equipped. Walking along the lake is beautiful. There's lots of nice activities too so especially for children. We took a speed boat in the lake which was exciting. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, the minigolf, playing ping pong and the arcade. The food in the restaurant was delicious too. We'll definitely be going again :)"

"Very good room with sea view. Food was also very tasty. Only problem is that dining room faces west and isfully glazed from floor to ceiling. As we were lucky to have a cloudless sky (despite a biting cold wind) dining at 6pm meant that the sun was too hot. I think fitted blinds are needed"

"We’ve just returned from celebrating my birthday weekend and we've had the best time ever. We truly did feel like a King and Queen for the weekend! All the staff were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful with the best views of Lake Windermere 😍 Thank you for an amazing stay Love from The Parr’s xx Just want to add we’ve been coming to Bowness for around 15 years to celebrate my birthday weekend but this was the first time staying at Belsfield as it’s also our 20th year of being Married (August). We have always admired it from afar and have stayed in surrounding accommodations but this weekend has blown all the accommodations out of the water. We have had the best weekend ever. Room was spacious with excellent bathroom and shower Used to go to local old laundry theatre which was. very close walking distance. Nice local restaurants. Excellent breakfast. Very nice hotel. If returning to the area we would use again. "
