"The star of the show at the resort is the views over bay and the private pool. We stayed in a villa and had loads of space. The downside was to get to any other part of the resort we had to walk up a very steep hill - which gets tiring after a while. Foodwise, for an all inclusive the buffet offerings were good enough but not amazing. The place was very clean and overall staff were great but some facilities upgrades need to be made including replacing the poor lifts and the patio/balcony...

We had great expectations for Candia based on its appointment as a 4-star resort (and high cost) and the photos on Expedia. Often difficult to get spots at the pool as well. We almost decided to go next door to the Nana Princess instead. Food was pretty good.
