"We have stayed in this hotel a few times but for the first time we were on the side of the hotel that is nearest the M6. We loved this side because it caught the sun, you could barely see the motorway but the view was great. Overall, staff were very friendly. The only downside was the chaos at breakfast, where there were insufficient staff to make the breakfast experience pleasurable."

"We stayed here for my wife’s 55th birthday. My wife has mobility issues and the staff were very accommodating to her needs. As usual staff are very attentive, polite and friendly. Only issue is they have changed the evening menu and was not to our taste so dined out in the evening. Bar menu and breakfast excellent with lots of choice. Fantastic stay once again 😊"

"Clean hotel room in a convenient location for us. The only downsides were the noise of the front door - not sure whose great idea it was to put a family room (206) directly above the main entrance and opposite the exit of the pub and the bed was rather hard - I compared it to the slab you would lay on for a Turkish massage but some might like that, I personally didn't. "

I also feel this is a Golf course 1st and Hotel and Spa second. Not bad for a night away especially if you are an older couple but younger couples may feel out of place.
