The staff were so friendly and helpful at every turn and every member of staff seemed to know everyone's name. "Very friendly front desk staff, provide all useful information. The room is very clean and can even see the volcano. Waiting up hearing all the bird churbing and that makes you feel so good. It’s like staying in the rain forest. Breakfast is included and you just need to drive 1-2 mins to the resort next door. All very convenient. The hanging bridge park is right next to the lodge parking. "

"Wonderful experience. The rooms are all along a steep hill and have great views. We were given Room 28 Premium King bed which is close to the top of the hill and the views were stunning. The hotel has a number of golf carts and someone can take you up there if you need help. The grounds are beautiful and there are trails behind the property which lead to the Aguti reserve to which the hotel provides free admission. The staff and service was excellent as was the hotel restaurant, El Sapo. ...

"This property is BEAUTIFUL and incredible value for money! The view is gorgeous and the family who owns the hotel is so kind and lovely. They provide a delicious breakfast, and they even drove us to an ATM and offered to drive us into town. It’s not a far walk otherwise, just uphill on the way back. We also were walked to a nearby restaurant, Koora, which was incredible. The beds were comfy, the room is spacious, and our balcony was perfect. I would stay here again in the future. "

"Room was nice. Air conditioner workedwell. Bed was comfortable. Restaurant with pool view and nature view was soothing and romantic in the evening. It is very remote. and relaxing. We went there for birding photography. Found out best time for that is in December. No entertainment or tv. Boat ride on Tempisque River was awesome."
