"It was a nice hotel to stay at and a perfect location. The hot tub/pool was great. I would stay there again. But you can tell it is an older property, and lacked customer service at the front office. The breakfast and Dinner in the Ambler restaurant was really good, customer service an excellent in that area."

Terrible communication amongst staff to guests. had no idea of where to go on the property and what it offered because when we checked in zero information was given to us. Had to always find out important things by asking, things that should haven been included in check in. When we did find a concierge, he was helpful but included a sales pitch for a timeshare on a totally different...

"The Westin River walk was perfect for our Christmas get-away. The location is on the quiet part of the River Walk and was not nearly as crowded as it could have been. even on Christmas Day a number of very good restaurants were open and the food at the ones we tried was very good. The front desk staff and the bellmen were friendly and extremely helpful. "

"I liked that they allowed us to check in early . I didn’t like all the fees they charged. Especially the parking fee. Thought it was ridiculous to charge for self parking. But if you don’t mind any of that then this is a good hotel to stay at. It close to the river walk and the Alamo. Close to great restaurants."
