"Lovely resort hotel, beautiful setting, great lodges with all facilities, helpful staff and a convenient shuttle service to and from the main town and pier. Free yoga and other facilities, plus an excellent spa. A fantastic place to stay, but not recommended for anyone with mobility issues - lots of steps everywhere. I don’t think the restaurant was brilliant, though it was fine, so we ate out most of the time. Still a great destination. "

Enormous room, very comfortable bed and pillows, looking over infinity pool with incredible see view and sunsets looking out to Koh Nang Yuan Island. Taxi boat available for day trip from hotel. Food excellent. Only negative was food and drinks very pricey compared to anywhere else we have stayed with an additional service charge and tax of 17% added to your bill"

"We had an amazing stay at The Place. It was truly home from home. We were picked up at the ferry terminal and when we left dropped off, we were really well looked after. The villa was so comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a really informative induction to the facility. The views are stunning, the best sunsets. The pool was clean, we often didn’t leave the site, we were there for 11 days and I could’ve stayed much longer. Trips were organised for us. The walk into town was about 10...
