"Lovely resort hotel, beautiful setting, great lodges with all facilities, helpful staff and a convenient shuttle service to and from the main town and pier. Free yoga and other facilities, plus an excellent spa. A fantastic place to stay, but not recommended for anyone with mobility issues - lots of steps everywhere. I don’t think the restaurant was brilliant, though it was fine, so we ate out most of the time. Still a great destination. "

"Loved the most the layout, design and location of the resort. The lighthouse design was so cute and like nothing we have stayed in before. There were only a few rooms on the property which made it feel secluded and peaceful. With a restaurant and infinity pool just 5 steps away from our rooms we couldn’t have asked for a better stay on koh Tao. Staff were so kind and helpful. "

"We LOVED staying here at The Place. It was so nice and relaxing that it was difficult to leave the villa to explore Koh Tao. So many great options to order in from local restaurants and also had walkability to beach and local shops. This place is perfect for a couple wanting to relax and retreat but also want to explore the beautiful island of Koh Tao. The pool view was magical. "We had a lovely stay and the price over New Years was so much more affordable than many others we looked at. well looked after, massive beds. Up a very steep hill but not a problem for us. Only small comment would be the state of the towels, they were so old or microfibre towels, it would have been lovely to have hotel quality towels to match the place, Koh Tao was also selling towels everywhere so it would be an easy thing to change.
