"Beautiful location with really friendly staff. We were put in a disabled room although we didn’t need it. Brilliant space for someone who is disabled. Only fault was the shower heads needed a good clean so that you got water from all the holes. The taps on the shower were stiff & were not suitable for someone who suffers with any sort of dexterity issues. I fed this back on check out and she made a note. We had dinner in the bar & breakfast. Food was lovely. Very popular place with the locals...

"Old thorns is a lovely hotel and the rooms are very nice. My only complaint is that the swimming pool and spa area needs to have some attention - I visit in May 23 and then again in January 24 and the hot beds were out of order both times and the hot tub was not working - my daughter and I used the foot spa bit the water was only running cold, this was disappointing as this is a spa hotel and I expected more. However I would still stay at old thorns as it is a comfortable hotel, but if I am...
