"This lovely quaint Guest House was ideal for us on New Year's Eve as we were invited to a Masquerade Ball held at The Queens Hotel which was only a 6 minute walk away from the Guest House. We were initially thinking of going by taxi but trying to get a taxi on New Year's Eve is a nightmare and there's no guarantee anyway that they would actually turn up. "Beautiful location with really friendly staff. We were put in a disabled room although we didn’t need it. Brilliant space for someone who is disabled. Only fault was the shower heads needed a good clean so that you got water from all the holes. The taps on the shower were stiff & were not suitable for someone who suffers with any sort of dexterity issues. I fed this back on check out and she made a note. We had dinner in the bar & breakfast. Food was lovely. Very popular place with the locals...
