"Nice and clean. Great beach access and a neat live music scene. Great for couples looking for a place to sleep before boarding a cruise if you want to get the party started early! Not a quiet, serene place if you want total silence to sleep, but we slept just fine with the chatter of conversations in the sitting area. "Loved where the hotel is located. Enjoyed the balcony . The bathroom wasn’t clean enough. No small mirror to use and lighting weak. The shower drain cover is loose. The biggest yuck that I reported and took pic is that the top sheet over the comforter had blood on it. "

"We arrived less than a week after Hurricane Beryl hit. The property suffered some damage as did some of the condos and those were being repaired. Turtle Romance was exactly as described. If you are not used to heat with humidity and climbing 2 flights of stairs with luggage in tow, it will be difficult. The view from the balcony was stunning. It is easy to get to the beach. "The house itself is good but the parking is ridiculous. This is a 2 story house and the rent the bottom floor and the top floor separately. You each have your own entrances to the house but both parties share the driveway. This caused issues because someone was always blocking the other renters car in. Your not allowed to park on the street so you just have to hope the other renters are willing to move their cars all the time so you can get out of the driveway "

"We arrived on Sunday and the hurricane hit and we lost power. Water came in the patio door and we had to use all the towels for clean up. Power went out and we had very little communication with the office. The windows were rusted shut and the temperature inside reached 90. There were no lights in the stairwells and we felt very unsafe. Finally someone came to check on us Tuesday and let us know they would get back to us but we heard nothing.
