"I got was exactly what I paid for & for that, it was excellent. I’m a very simple, frugal person & as long as I have a bed to sleep in at night & a place to put my stuff in while I’m out & about doing my thing (I flew in from NJ) & having fun & my co-inhabitants were cordial & kept to themselves, then everything’s great & I’m happy to say, it was. The area’s not the most nicest most scenic nor safest looking but I felt reasonably safe enough walking about when I did. For the affordability & caveat, it was worth it & if I’m ever in the area again someday & in a position where I want to save as much as possible, I’d happily do it again. Thanks!"

"This was my first time in LA, so I really had to depend on reviews to find a place to stay for the 1.5 days I was here. The STILE did not disappoint. The room was clean, the place itself was clean. I loved the espresso cafe one of the best lattes I’ve ever had. Raspberry cream cheese danish amazing. The staff was friendly. I was afraid because of how low the bed was that it would be uncomfortable and it was not. The water pressure and temperature of the shower was perfect for me. Comfortable walking distance to a lot of places. If I had to complain about anything it would be the elevator. As far as if it wanted me to put the code in or not. Sometimes it would move without the code other times it required the code. Also, the outside noise ( they do provide a white noise machine and ear plugs which did help a little ) I know they can’t control this , being woken up @ 7am by a lady yelling at the top of her lungs at someone was a bit much. Would I stay here again? I plan on it ! "

"There was filming going on next to the hotel so when we called, the person who answered the phone gave clear and concise directions to get into the property and then Shavonda at check-in was phenomenal!!!! Just like our first stay 40 years ago the Bonaventure did not disappoint!!!"

"Great stay! We were there for a Lakers gave and it was perfect, just a short walk across the street. The bars and restaurants across the street gave a nice variety to choose from. There was security at the entrance of the area and throughout, we didn’t feel unsafe. Will definitely stay again. "
