"Small room but functional and for once, truly quiet. Great location. But many areas were not clean or spotless clean (desk, plug frames, bed headboard). It was clean, otherwise, where it matters, but not enough considering the price. The AC can be controlled through the iPad but setting to 18C and high fan didn’t do much. It was still warm. Bed was firm and comfortable. Bedding of decent quality, but not sure if natural fiber. Great staff at reception. "

"The room was a good size but it got hot even in January. We ended up cracking the window, which let in the street noise but it wasn’t too bad. The hotel restaurant/bar was great. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was a bit of a walk from the underground but there were bus routes nearby. Walkable to the British museum. Overall a good place to stay. "

"Haven’t stayed in a Marriot for a few years . In this hotel the rooms have been refurbished in a more modern style. Dark but really cosy. The staff were really helpful and friendly. They let me check out at 2pm at no extra cost. Nice pool for an evening swim. Very warm pool. Breakfast was really well organised and really good selection of hot and continental. Really nice experience. Will definitely stay again. "

"This hotel was amazing. Very classy, clean & the rooms are not closet sized which I find too often is the case in London. The bed was an American full size bed & the room was great. Walk in shower was clean & modern. There is a nice nook with a small fridge, water, a kettle, tea-bags & coffee pods for the nespresso type machine. It was all great.
