"We were really pleased with our stay. After traveling for 24 hours due to flight delays, the ASAI was such a wonderful place to land and recover. What we loved: The staff was efficient-particularly appreciated when you're checking in at 2am-; the rooms are sparse (in the best of ways), tasteful and clean; the beds are AMAZING and the room has blackout curtains thanks to which we slept like babies; It was quiet despite the fact that you are right in the heart of Chinatown; some of Bangkok's best street food is only minutes away, and it's a great base from which to explore as it is a 2-minute walk from a subway station. What we might have wished for: We booked our room through a third-party provider and didn't know the hotel's website offers really helpful tips on places to eat and visit, as well as an interactive map. Bangkok can be pretty overwhelming for first-timers so it would've helped to be informed of that resource when we checked in (I found it the day before our depature on a fluke) My partner and I only stayed for 3 nights before heading south but we liked it so much we'll probably be booking there again for our last nights in Thailand before flying home! Highly recommend this hotel!"
