"The hotel is located close to the more peaceful part of the park - this means however that a lot of driving or long transfers are needed for the Eastern parts. "For the price this is not a good hotel. Pools abandoned, bathrooms lack maintenance with tile falling, inflexible with transportation. The restaurant has fallen in quality since last time I was there 4 years ago and there are no other options. Its a nice location isolated and quite with nice hot spring pools, but not worth the very high price. Plus now they charge extra for kayaks and spa. "

It’s outside the pickup area for many excursions, so you need to arrange transportation or make it to the location from where your excursion departs. "This property has the potential to hit top mark. However the kindness of the staff and the magnificent location -although extremely remote- cannot make up for everything. A very poor wifi - that the absence of tv makes even more painful- the absence of laundry and an overall lack of good maintenance of the place and appliances in general makes it a tiny bit too bohemian to my test. This being said, I loved my stay at the Hacienda!"
