"Lovely property and great staff. There is a bus stop near by and they also help shuttle you to the Gstaad train stop. They have a lot of small touches that you don’t find often these days (like in room breakfast option, water and nuts upon arrival. Would stay again for sure! "

"We came to Zermatt last year and wanted to stay at Hotel Alex but others in the group did not and we ended up staying elsewhree at a nice place with no restaurant or gym but near the Matterhorn Express lift. This year after a group trip fell through we decided to give the Hotel Alex a try. It a much better experience in Zermatt. The location is perfect, right next to the train station and the coop is right across the street. The gym was great and I am a non skier so used it often. The vibe of...
