"Perfect location for public transport to and from airport and around the city and to SoCo - one way $1.25 & $2.50 for a day ticket - what a bargain !!. A short walk from The Capitol, the Murals....a must see Plenty of restaurants and cafes in the vicinity, even Alfreds is here tho their coffee is not a patch on the LA outlets - for essentials Seven 11 and Walgreens just around the corner though Trader Joes and Whole Foods are too far. The Driskell is recommended for breakfast"

"Love this property in Austin. We come to spend a week or so here every year and the location is perfect. The staff are all so friendly. It’s walkable and safe. It’s generally quiet but they host conventions around the holidays so that brings some noise but nothing unbearable. Still my favorite place to stay.
